Bio

All about Sam. And Tully. And Sam and Tully.

Sam and Tully - the funniest teen folk comedy acoustic guitar dance duo Tasmania has ever seen - are taking the state (and the world) by storm. For over a year the team of Sam "Guitarminator" Nicholson and Tully "Witty Nickname" Hansen have brought their unique blend of music and comedy to the streets of Hobart's Salamanca Market every Saturday, and more recently to the massed crowds at Suttons at Salamanca on Friday evenings.

Dancing, singing and speaking out on all number of weird and wonderful themes - from sewing machines to Doctor Who, Ray Martin to revolutionary salmon - the pair have been described as "... the next Doug-Anthony-Allstar-Scared-Weird-Little-Guys-Gud style act only younger, stronger, faster and funnier." (Craig Wellington - producer, Hobart Comedy Festival). An ever-growing repertoire of songs (both silly and deeply serious) and a newly-released album sees Sam and Tully continue to take the local comedy scene by storm, to the delight of all and sundry.
